Flying into Naples

Most guests traveling to Sorrento will arrive through Naples International Airport (NAP), the closest airport to the Amalfi Coast. It’s a small but efficient airport, just a 1–1.5 hour drive from Sorrento. When booking flights, look for connections through major European hubs like Rome, Paris, Frankfurt, or London. Once you land, you can easily reach Sorrento by shuttle, ferry, train, or taxi—details are listed below!

Travel Tips:

Passport checks and customs are generally quick, but lines can form during peak travel hours.

Currency: Euros (€) are used throughout Italy. There are ATMs in the arrivals area, but it's smart to notify your bank before traveling.

Taxis and transfers are just outside the arrivals terminal. If using a shuttle or ferry, we suggest pre-booking.

SIM cards and Wi-Fi: Local SIMs are available at the airport, or check your mobile plan for EU roaming options.
